As a Vista small business owner and employer, I know first-hand the challenges facing our city. I bring the same focus on good management, eliminating waste and encouraging productivity to our city government that I employ daily in the management of my small business.
It’s been my honor to serve the people of South Vista for the past 6 years. I was elected to the Vista Irrigation District Board of Directors in 2012 and the Vista City Council in 2014.
As your Councilman, I have fought for government that is accountable to you. I’ve worked to make Vista safer, to reduce crime, to improve traffic to get you home to your family sooner and safer, to end the budget deficits of the past and to grow our emergency reserves.
I’m proud that because of my work as your Councilman, South Vista has seen an increase in regular patrol hours from our Sheriff’s department. I won the fight to balance our budget, and now Vista is in the best financial health it’s seen in decades.
As a business owner and employer, I work directly with local, state and national leaders to communicate the same priorities I’ve led with in Vista to other parts of our Country. My business provides management and communications services to elected leaders and non-profit organizations.
Before founding my business, I worked on Capitol Hill for our Congressman, Darrell Issa as a Senior Policy Advisor on national policy issues including taxation, entitlement reform and defense.
I am a member of the South Vista Communities Association and a member of the Vista Chamber of Commerce. I earned a Bachelor’s degree from the American University in Washington, D.C.
My wife Shanna and I are homeowners in Shadowridge where we are proud to call home.
